People buy the amazing Starter Kit offer from Stampin’ Up! for a variety of reasons. What I hear you cry £130 worth of stash from the catalogue for a mere £99 and FREE P&P, Goodness, I would be saving over 30% on my shopping…..what’s the catch?
There simply isn’t one. The starter kit is THE best offer in the catalogue, always. For anyone who wishes to seize the opportunity to get themselves a bargain and has a wish list nearing £99 then it is the best option without a shadow of a doubt. As a member of the Stampin’ Up! family you receive a minimum of 20% net discount on your future purchases and you also make income from sales you make to other people if they chose to order from you. This is obviously a win win situation.
The best part about the Starter Kit is that YOU choose the items that go into it. You can choose anything from any catalogue up to the value of £130 (but you can’t go over that amount) There is an option to add business supplies to your starter kit for FREE and I suggest you add these regardless of whether you intend to run a business or not as they are free and leave you with options should you decide to grow your hobby. As soon as you have signed up, hopefully adding me as your team leader and selected items for your box the journey begins. There are masses of other great reasons for going Stampin’ up which I will talk about later.
You can join my team whether you are in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany or Austria, and you can join now, right away by clicking the link at the bottom of this post.
I bought my starter kit originally because I simply had a big shopping list of things I “needed”, as I was just starting out on my stamping hobby and I do love to save money. I had no intention of running a business and just wanted to be a hobby demonstrator, as we are often referred to, and buy discounted crafting supplies. I did take the Free business supplies kit as I realised it included free catalogues that I could use for ideas. I became part of an amazing team of crafters called Pinkies with Michelle as my team leader, and I have now made some really good friend, joined numerous facebook groups and taken my crafting to another level altogether.
Some people buy the kit with the sole intention of growing a client base and building their own full time crafting business. That is okay too, and Stampin’ Up! will provide you with all the support, training and materials you will need to do just that.
There are lots and lots of people who fall between these two ends of the spectrum, who buy the starter kit and sell enough stash to themselves and a few friends to remain as an active demonstrator and are eligible to attend all the team events and crafty retreats, making some new friends along the way. this is perhaps the vast majority of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators and certainly the ones in my team at the moment.
So buying the Starter Kit means different things to different people and all are incredibly welcome, there is no hard sell, no pressure and no expectations. you can do as much or as little as you choose. If you wish to remain as a demonstrator however, you do need to meet certain sale levels each quarter, but they are not too high, around £276 (£230 with your discount) If you don’t then nothing dreadful happens, other than you go into “pending” for a month, which is an opportunity to reach the sale target if you wish, otherwise you are let go as a demonstrator and simply lose your 20% discount and access to the creative groups you may have joined. No one comes chasing or knocking on your door.
You can join again if you wish, there is no limit to the number of times you can join up as a Demonstrator. You will simply start back at the beginning having lost any incentive points you may have earned.
See, I told you there really is no catch or tricks hiding in the wings. We are confident you will love everything about Stampin’ Up! and I will look after you, as you become part of my small team and will ensure everything runs smoothly and that you are getting the most out of being a demonstrator.
